Hi, I'm Yaffa. I'm a psychotherapist in Boston.

I am the owner of Ecotherapy Boston with big dreams to bring ecotherapy to the East Coast! Currently, I provide therapy outdoors and virtually to clients who are living with anxiety, depression, ADHD, fertility challenges, pregnancy, postpartum mood and anxiety disorders, parenting, and much more. No matter how big or small you feel the problem is that you are facing, I can help you through it - you do not need to manage this alone!

I discovered the field of ecotherapy in 2021 and never looked back, as I have seen how effective it can be for clients to move, to breathe fresh air, to notice nature around them and learn how to use gifts of nature in their lives. Meeting clients outside is so therapeutic and connecting to your natural surroundings can change your life. Join me on a walk in the woods and experience it for yourself!

About Me

My Services.

Walk and Talk Sessions

Sessions are typically held in the client's neighborhood or a local park and are 55 min. Sessions can be held while walking or sitting. Babies are welcome to come along.

My rate for an hour-long in-person session in Newton is $200. For clients who live in the Greater Boston area and would like me to travel to them, my rate is $250 to account for the time and expenses related to my transportation.

Telehealth

Sessions are 45-55 minutes, held over Zoom, and can be weekly, biweekly, or monthly based on the client's needs.

My rate for remote professional services, including telehealth sessions, is $135-150/hour.

Services

Support Groups

Sometimes a group is exactly what we need to feel supported and less alone in our experiences. I am currently offering a postpartum support group and a postpartum walking group through the Boston Birth Village.

Clinical Supervision

I offer supervision for social work interns and LCSWs. I have been supervising interns for 4+ years and have been told that I am caring and attentive, and in tune with clinical issues.

Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy

I offer a therapeutic modality called Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP), the use of ketamine as a complement to psychotherapy. I deliver KAP in my practice in partnership with an organization called Journey Clinical, which has a specialized medical team that determines eligibility for KAP, prescribes the ketamine, & supports us in monitoring outcomes. If you would like to explore the possibility of working with me on KAP, please e-mail me to discuss eligibility and next steps.
